Misanthropized Databeings are individuals within the Cyberverse that have been infected by Retrobution.

Appearances

The average infected takes on a dark purple hue as part of the transformation. They also cry uncontrollably, with their infectious tears being used for mass spreading. Most of them are constantly agitated, as per their pure hatred towards the nature of life.

Abilities

Infection

Self explanatory; any databeing who is killed by the Misanthropized or touches a Retrobution stain/puddle becomes infected. Anthros and other similar-strength characters are far more resistant to infection, while firewalls are completely immune to its effects.

Mutations

Once infected and alive for 1-5 data-months, an individual may receive one of the following physical/psychological adaptations:

Extra pairs of hands
Extra eyes
Sharpening of 1-2 hands
Super strength
Super speed
Constant leakage of Retrobution puddles
Crystallization
The ability to create and manipulate Retrobution cells
Mind control

Personal Skills

If a databeing becomes infected, they keep their past masteries over jobs and hobbies they worked for (ex. an infected operator is still able to control firewalls). Magic powers are also brought along, if the databeing had any.

They are completely apathetic and remorseless, due to losing consciousness from the infection. Although, not all databeings suffer this and may keep their personalities as well.
They will obey orders from Retrobution in its anthro form, although partially infected individuals may struggle to defy her.
If a Corruption consumes a Renegram Heart, they will become infected.
As of now, there are approximately 89m Misanthropized Databeings in existence; this quantity is likely subject to change.
The names of the infected are portmanteaus of related adjectives, misspellings, and synonyms of hate.
